Lori’s Update: Late Season Snow Causes Havoc

Hot Wings Maple damaged by snowWell that late May snow sure did some damage to the trees around here. We lost our Hot Wings Maple in our backyard that was finally getting to be a nice size.  We will really miss it’s bright red leaves this fall. We saw so many branches down driving through the neighborhoods and we heard from a few of our clients that lost branches. For those wondering, home insurance policies only pay for the cleanup and repair of downed trees or branches if they damage your property. If they fall on a neighbor’s house, car, or other property, it will be the neighbor’s own insurance policy that will pay for the damages.

And now that June is here, it is the month to look forward to summer weather (please no big hail storms though), kids home on school breaks and hopefully some fun plans to look forward to.  Last year at this time, we were vacationing in FL with our grandson’s and now they are living there so it might mean some year, they need to come to Colorado and vacation here with us and get a break from the heat and humidity!  We do hope that you have a safe and fun summer and new family memories made.

Thanks for your continued business and thinking of us on your referrals of your friends and family.  We do appreciate it!
