Lori & Jim are enjoying some added time with Megan & family in Florida.

Jim and I have now arrived in Florida to work remotely for the winter only to have the weather report saying dress in layers, frost warnings and you might want to check and see if your furnace works. People were being warned on how to protect their homes from having frozen pipes and how to keep your pool equipment from freezing. The iguanas are not happy about it either as cold weather causes them to fall right out of the trees. We may not have snow to shovel but with the chilly temps and wind, I was wishing I had brought my Colorado jacket and gloves with me! Let’s say, we will be happy to see a warmer forecast soon since that is the reason the snowbirds flock to Florida during this time!

Our year ended in Colorado with a very tragic time with the Marshall fire. Our hearts go out to everyone that was devastated by this fire. We have been receiving calls and emails from our clients wondering if their homes are properly insured should something like this ever happen to them. Keeping your home coverage updated is very important and we look forward to reviewing your coverages with you to see if there are changes that need to be done. You don’t have to wait until your renewal time to do this either. We can always make changes at any time during your policy term so please reach out to us, especially if you have made any significant changes at your house.
