First off, we hope all of you are healthy and for those who can, staying home as much as possible. For those of you working in essential businesses (healthcare, food service, etc.), THANK YOU for continuing to take care of the rest of us. This is such an unusual time and I doubt any of us were expecting this impact just a few weeks ago. In fact, did March seem like the longest month in history or was that just us?
We are doing well at The Insurance Place and fortunate enough to be in full operation. We continue to have most of the team working remotely and 1 or 2 in the office depending on the day. However, the office door remains locked. We are in the office to handle the mail, fax machine, (yes, we still occasionally receive faxes), and other in person duties. We are happy to continue servicing your policies by phone and email. If there is a situation that cannot be addressed this way, please speak with your agent and we will brainstorm other options together. For self service options, such as payments, please reference this article from last year… https://insplace.com/self-service-options/. Thank you for your continued business!
As the grass is turning green and the daffodils are blooming, we know everyone would rather be out enjoying the benefits of spring. We hope you are still able to enjoy the beautiful weather. Maybe this is the spring your lawn gets that TLC it needs, or you have a chance to start a container garden on your deck. Get back to (or start) writing letters to your older family members who look forward to the mail delivery every day. Find a new (or old) favorite board game to gather the family together every evening. Work on that reading list with a free trial of Kindle Unlimited. And don’t forget the newest activity… virtual happy hour. Any millennial or younger would be happy to show you free ways you can share a bottle of wine with your family and friends, wherever they are safely tucked away.
We can’t control a lot these days but maintaining a positive attitude and relishing this forced slow down is something we all can focus on.
We wish you all a Happy Easter and continued good health!
