Over the past six months, we have been working on some technology upgrades here at The Insurance Place, Inc. We previously shared with you that we have added texting capabilities. That phone number for texts only is 720-619-2123. We are now ready to share the final items with you and hope that they provide some enhancements to your customer service experience with us.
We have upgraded our website so it has a clean, fresh look. Hopefully this will allow you to find what you are looking for easier. Even better, you can use the search field in the top right corner. If you are looking for the article we wrote about RV Tips because you want to read it again, just type “RV” in the search field. For more fun, type “recipe” and find all the recipes we have shared with you in the e-newsletters the past couple years.
The biggest item we want to point out on the website is the customer portal which ties in with our other upgrade. Our new agency management system allows us to offer clients access to your basic policy information, print an ID card or evidence of insurance for most policies, and request changes. Commercial clients can input a request for a certificate right through this site as well. Just look for “PORTAL” in the menu (2nd from the right along the top for desktop computers, 3 lines/menu icon at top right for mobile devices).
The best part is you do not need to remember another password or even to know which insurance company is providing your coverage. The portal uses your email address. If it recognizes your email, the next page will ask if you want your PIN by text or email so you can log in. Each log in requires a new PIN so you do not need to save this information. The portal is available on all devices so don’t get caught without proof of insurance again.
Since the portal uses your email, we must have your email address in our management system for the portal to access your account. If you enter your email and it is not recognized, you will receive the following message: “This email address is not found. Please contact your agent directly.” Also, if we do not have a phone number labeled as “mobile,” you will not have the option to receive your PIN by text. Please let us know if either of these are the case so we can update your account.
